He completed MD in General Medicine through All India Ranking from Institute in Orissa State i.e VSS Medical College , Burla and after that served as a Senior Resident in prestigious institute of New Delhi i.e AIIMS NEW DELHI. He worked in Department of Emergency Medicine at AIIMS, New Delhi, and in the Department of Emergency Medicine at JPNATC Trauma Centre, AIIMS. He worked as Consultant at Max Hospital, Delhi.
